Go past the password guy and there will be a free broadsword for those who were careless with Kain's armaments. A news vendor will be of utmost help to Kain. Then, walk out onto the street and kill all that you see. You'll need to find the password before Kain'll be let through. Hehehehe.Ĭheckpoint (20% Complete) Another fella who thinks he can stop Kain. Be sure to check for goodies before leaving this storage building. Throw the switch in the generator room to get power back online and move on to the checkpoint. Now move the good glyph battery to where the bad one is (be sure to remove it from the circuit) and swap them. The door to the square will shut, sealing Kain inside. Begin by pulling out the good glyph battery (green egg object). Once inside, the goal is to open the door on the other side of the building. As you know by now, the Glyph-wright cannot be harmed. Follow the flowing Glyph and operate that switch to go inside the abandoned warehouse. The stone block in the square's center allows Kain to jump to the Glyph switch. If Kain is quick, he can kill the harlot who loiters around a guard as well. Bwahahahaha.ĭown the alley, Kain will now be on the other side of the Glyph forcefield (or as Umah describes them as, 'wards') in a small civic square with several Sarafan Guards and a peddler. ![]() Be sure to smash Duncan's head repeatedly against the cold, hard stone to insure that he will never again be a bother. Once that information is secure, go to the fellow who prevented Kain from going forward and he will be able to go on. Have Kain follow her instruction on how to trick Duncan ('I am the night shift') to opening the gate. Kain will be looking for the tapster, and luckily, she cannot be killed unless Kain has telekinesis (unlikely, unless you use a cheat device). Where the couple are arguing outside the Red Raven pub is where Kain needs to go, but settle their marital spat and slay them, plus any Guards that come to help, and everyone inside the Red Raven tavern. If you do not do this, you will be sorry. These Guards are no different from the ones Kain has encountered before, but they will employ unblockables (red bubble! red bubble!) from now on, so remember to always side-dodge at the end of the combo, or should Kain be unsuccessful in a grab attempt. Once on the street, slaughter the Guards and the prostitutes. Stealth kill the first footpad in the mist and the second to investigate a third footpad awaits just around the corner. Do not forget that the cursor must turn purple before Kain will attempt the leap.Ĭheckpoint (5% Complete) Continue down and become mist.
